Amr Khaled is an Egyptian auditor, currently resides between Lebanon and the U.K. He has a B.A. in commerce, a diploma in Islamic studies and is presently a PhD candidate at the University of Wales, U.K.
Hadeer is an Arabic word that refers to the strong sound water currents produce. Inspired by Amr Khaled’s TV show “Life Makers”, Hadeer came to voice the concerns and ambitions of the Muslim youth. Hicham Maged reports the story of their success.
“Life Makers” or “Sunaa’ Ul Hayah” in Arabic is a new term has been introduced to our daily vocabulary. It term was first introduced to the public in February 2004 by the 38 year old da’iah* Amr Khaled in a TV program broadcast on Iqraa TV channel under the same name.
